Childcare Sufficiency Assessment - April 2008
This Childcare Sufficiency report brings together the understanding of the childcare market from within the local authority and from parents, carers, providers, employers and others with an interest in the wellbeing of children.
Consultation has been carried out throughout 2007/8 both to produce the document and to critique the draft; the results of this are incorporated within the assessment. This is not the end of consultation, the local authority will continue to actively encourage comment and criticism of the assessment over the coming months, addendum will be added as issues arise and the assessment will be formally updated annually.
Therefore although this document is published as the first Childcare Sufficiency Assessment within the county it is acknowledged that there may be revisions during the year that amend the content.
